Fischer Motorsport releases Aaron DePoy

DePoy has been with the team since September 2019 and competed for the team in several races in the iRacing Endurance Series, iRacing Endurance Le Mans Series, IVRA Endurance Series and special endurance events such as the 2020 iRacing 24 Hours of Daytona and 2020 iRacing 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Highlights for DePoy's tenure with the team include a second place in the 2020 iRacing 24 Hours of Le Mans and a fourth place in this past weekend's iRacing Endurance Series 12 Hours of Barcelona.

"We want to thank Aaron for his dedication and contributions to the team over the past year. We just felt it was in the best interest of the team to make a change. We wish him the very best for his sim racing and personal future.", team owner Benjamin Fischer said in a short statement on Monday.

The team has not yet announced any replacement for its Porsche 911 RSR GTE program for the upcoming 2020-21 IVRA Endurance Series season that starts in early September.
