IVRA on Sunday announced the entry list for the 2020-21 IVRA Endurance Series. Fischer Motorsport has earned spots on the grid for both, the No. 284 Porsche in GT PRO and the No. 385 Porsche in GT AM.
Manuel Mayer and Pascal Theis will pilot the No. 284 Porsche 991 RSR GTE in GT PRO

The new IVRA Endurance Series season will kick off with the 12 Hours of Spa on October 10th and feature seven points paying championship races through April 2021.

Headlining the two-car effort by the organization, Manuel Mayer and Pascal Theis will pilot the No. 284 Porsche 991 RSR GTE in the GT PRO class. Mayer is entering his third season in the series while Theis hopes to build on his rookie campaign last year, that saw him finish in the top ten in all six championship rounds, including three top-five.

“I’m excited to be back in this series. It’s a privilege just to be part of this. The team has worked very hard to qualify. But we know this is just the beginning and now it counts for real. We’ll have to get ready for Spa. But yeah, I’m super excited that we made it in.”, Theis said.

Nathan Manning and Benjamin Fischer will pilot the No. 385 Porsche 991 RSR GTE in GT AM

The team’s second entry, the No. 385 Porsche 991 RSR GTE will compete for the championship in the GT AM category with drivers Nathan Manning and Benjamin Fischer.

Fischer, who is a four-year veteran in the series, will be notably absent from GT PRO this season, instead running in the GT AM entry.

“We’ve decided to try to compete for a championship in GT AM and think that this can give us additional strength in building the team’s foundation, to have an entry in both GT categories. Just because it has those two AM letters in it, doesn’t mean it’s a slouch of a category. We fully expect that the competition will be tough and close.”, Fischer commented.

Overall, IVRA on Sunday announced 55 full-season entries and more than 100 drivers that will compete in one of the most premier sim racing leagues.
